Promotional Videos for Batik Merch Launch from 2021 to 2022

As a personal favour, I decided to work on a pretty interesting project by PInguino.sg, a Facebook Live channel specialising in jewellery, bags and occasionally food and skincare. They were launching a variety of manufactured Batik and original Batik merchandise, and they only had photos to go by.

 

As such, I edited photos, did extra filming (whenever I could, which is a grand total of once), and used free open-source materials online to create publicity videos that matched the vibe they were trying to go for - something funky, modern and quirky. Not to mention, they definitely wanted to hop onto the Squid Game popularity at one point. Overall, making these videos was a pretty interesting challenge for me because I had unlimited freedom to explore ideas with limited resources. And the tight deadlines, as usual.
